Familiarizing young generation of the country with the culture of Mahdism and removing superstitions and distorted ideas from aims of the uprising and global revolution of al-Imam al-Mahdi is one of the basic objectives of al-Mahdi (a) Cultural Foundation. In this course, educating religious missionaries and motivating the seminarian intellectuals has become a necessary for establishing the Mahdism Specialized Center in the city of Qum and has started its activity in the summer of 1380/2001. Through academic and propagation examination, the center selects some 30 virtuous seminarians in every teaching course while it demonstrates the Mahdism discourses from the aspects of doctrine, kalam (theology), narration, history, religious doubts and distorted sects. Though the basic objective of the teaching courses, propagation curricula at schools, universities, garrisons and other centers is public, and having paid special attention to research affairs, presenting academic articles of professors and some researchers of the center in specialized journal entitled Intizar (anticipation), the center will present it to the educated and education staff of the society. The center highly welcomes the cooperation with other academic-research centers in the Muslim world in the relevant subject. |
